its raining

Yes, after weeks without rain. Not just a light drizzle, but pouring, and for a long time too. This should help those hundred degree days.
Since starting my big Beatles book lastnight, I haven't wanted to put it down. It's so good, I wish it was mine.
So summer is coming to an end. I'm glad. I'm so sick of this heat. I can't wait for cooler days, and the months leading to Christmas. :) Doesn't that just sound nice? Imagine looking out your window right now and seeing snow on the ground. Mmmmm.... Except I'm not ready for cool weather clothes. I wish we could wear spring/summer clothes all year long.

You've just got to see these gorgeous pictures by Jessica Shae [here.]

on a very hot day

My friend Ashley and her family came for a visit and stayed these past two weeks. We've been friends since real little and she moved to Michigan over a year ago so it was really great to see her again! We got a couple pictures-

        (me)                                                                                                         (her)
I went to the orthodontist today and they said I might get my braces off in six months! They had originally said June of 2012. So instead of a whole another year, I may only have to wear them six more months. I can't get wait to get them off.

After that we went to the library. I don't really like libraries. I can't really explain why, they're just weird. But, I did a get a big book all about The Beatles. So it was alright after all. :) It's big but I'm planning to read the whoooole thing. :)

So long,
Eliza

here we go again.

Well, looks like I'm back to blogging. New header, new design, updated pages and a new post. I'm giving a shot at it at least.

I hope to post regularly about daily happenings. And a nice little place to share different things I've found here and there. So if your a follower, I'm sorry about the boringness. :) And if your new here, follow me if you dare. I'll try to do my best. :)

So long for now,

Survivalistic Paracord Products

My sister Emma and her boyfriend Josh are making these bracelets made of paracord and selling them. They seem to be a pretty big hit so far! They're not very fashionable in my opinion, but I suppose some people think so! :) Paracord is a very strong, thin rope that can hold up to over 500 pounds and it's used in the military. The idea is that if you were in some sort of emergency (can't seem to think of one) and needed some rope, you just take apart your bracelet and there, you now have like 8 foot of very strong rope. :) Handy, huh? They are also going to be making dog collars and leashes, belts, and things like that. Emma posted about it on her blog including a couple pictures. Click here to view her post. So if your interested, just leave a comment on her blog and you can work all those things out with her. :)

fourth of July

Summer has been the same few things. Swimming, listening to The Beatles in my bedroom, and occasional bike rides if it's not too hot. Looking at everyones posts about going to the beach is making me want to go too. I've never been to the beach...ever. Someday I hope!

I don't see why people like Dr. Pepper so much. It seems to be the favorite to most people. It's so sugary. I don't care for soda much, but I do like Pepsi. Maybe because it's not so strong.

Yesterday evening after eating fruit and sandwiches we went downtown to see fireworks.

Well I hope y'all had a great fourth of July!
