our trip to texas part one

Wow. We had an awesome time in Texas this past weekend! It was so much fun! We left early Thursday morning and arrived at my grandparent's house at around 4:30 in the afternoon. The drive really wasn't bad. When you think about driving all day it sounds like a drag but it somehow goes by fast.

   We went through Dallas, TX. on the way there.

  South Texas is definitely different then North West Arkansas. :) It's flat with some low rolling hills, white rock, short shrubby trees, and lots and lots of prickly pear cactus. But it's really pretty in it's own way.

 And lots and lots of deer.

And then we went to San Antonio, where my Aunt lives (my Mom's sister), where we went to see the Alamo, and walked around down town San Antonio.
